Just down the road from where we were camping in Ohio is the Wetzelland Fallen Bikers Memorial. I love finding small memorials like this as we travel. I will always visit places like this. We rode a golf cart down to visit it.
Seeing a motorcycle and an airplane mounted high was cool. Even though I don’t necessarily understand the significance of the airplane, I’m sure it has meaning to someone.
The Fallen Bikers Memorial is dedicated to all the Bikers who have given the ultimate sacrifice while riding. The names placed here (in the bricks) are a few who have left us too early.
This corner is a place for all to unite and remember those Bikers. We come here to shed a tear and share a memory of Bikers we have loved and lost.

Contrary to popular belief The Serenity Prayer is not found anywhere in the Bible. It was originally composed by Protestant theologian Reinhold Niebuhr in the early 1930s. The version we know today is a little different than the original and became popular in the 1950s.
I’ve always had some version of this prayer on the wall in our homes over the years. I don’t have one currently in the camper and I was pleased to see this cement plaque at this memorial.
God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and Wisdom to know the difference.
